Model 575 | 0.001 Hz to 10 MHzDigital Delay / Pulse Generator
Berkeley Nucleonics’ 500 series Delay Generators offer industry-leading precision in a multitude of user-friendly form factors. Our Model 575 offers, 2, 4, or, 8 independent outputs that are designed to provide cutting edge and cost-effective solutions. Our DDG’s generate and synchronize multiple pulses for a wide range of applications. The delay and pulse width for each channel are independent and digitally controlled which makes the instrument ideal for situations that require synchronizing several different events, all making the 575 one of the most flexible delay generator on the market with a host of optical/electrical inputs and outputs.

Custom Output Modes
Custom Modules such as the TZ-50 give users an expand list of capabilities with the Model 575. One example is our TZ-50 option, which allows customers a TTL signal into 50 ohms expanded.
Negative Delay
Use the handy negative delay feature to reference one channel with respect to another channel in positive or negative time increments. By allowing a channel to reference another channel as its trigger, you can synchronize the channels with respect to each other.
Note that Negative Delay cannot trigger a channel before your initial trigger. It is intended to complement the channel referencing option.

Summary of Electrical Outputs
AT20 – The standard 575 provides a selectable TTL or 20V into a high impedance from a 50 Ω source impedance. The TTL level is fixed; the 20V level is adjustable down to 2V. The risetime is 3 ns.
TZ50 – Choose this option on 2, 4, or all 8 channels to get TTL levels into 50 Ω. The standard output provides 4V pulses from 50 ohms which becomes 2V into a 50 Ω load. The TZ50 provides 4V into 50 Ω. The risetime is 3 ns.
AT45 – Choose this option to get 45V into 50 Ω. This option provides an adjustable 3-45V pulse into 50 Ω. The risetime is a respectable 2 ns. This is our newest option and will replace the AT35 in many applications unless price sensitivity makes the AT35 more attractive **Due to the power consumption and heat restrictions, only a maximum of four AT45 channels can be added on a single unit.
AT35 – This is our standard high voltage module. Order 2, 4, or all 8 channels. This gives you 35V into 50 Ω. This option provides an adjustable 35V pulse into 50 Ω. The risetime is 30 ns.
TZ35 – This is a combination of AT35 and TZ50 module. Order 2, 4, or all 8 channels. This gives you 35V into 50 Ω and TTL (4V) into 50 Ω. This option provides an adjustable 35V pulse into 50 Ω. The risetime is 30 ns.
