SOPHIA® XOX-Ray Cameras
for Soft X-Ray, VUV, and EUV Applications
SOPHIA® XO offers high-sensitivity (>95% QE) and high-speed for the widest range of VUV and x-ray detection, with thermoelectric cooling up to -90℃ and high frame rates. With a rotatable, industry-standard CF flange and high-vacuum seal design the software-selectable gains and readout speeds make this camera well suited for UHV applications.
>95% QE: ~5 eV – 30 keV
2k x 2k and 4k x 4k formats
10, 20 and 40 port readout
-90℃ cooling
Key Features
X-ray Energy Sensitivity
The SOPHIA XO provides high sensitivity with a >95% peak quantum efficiency in the 5 eV to 30 keV range, covering a wide variety of applications
Ultra-Flexible Performance
Flexible multiple-readout-port design allows the SOPHIA XO to capture even ultrafast events, offering 4-port, 2-port or 1-port readout options, custom sensor readout or kinetic readout each with 4.2 fps at 16 MHZ.
The SOPHIA XO comes with complete triggering support, independently optimized clocking for each combination alongside a field-replaceable internal mechanical shutter.
Latest UHV Technology
Using an all-metal, hermetically sealed vacuum design the SOPHIA XO prevents outgassing or long-term degradation caused by epoxies. Six or eight inch CF flange vacuum interface available.
ArcTec™ cooling technology
Taking advantage of an all-metal hermetically sealed vacuum design, the ArcTec™ cooling technology prevents outgassing or long-term degradion. A custom heat sign design is utilized to ensure efficient thermal dissipation from the sensor and electronics.
The ArcTec™ available are air cooling only, liquid cooling only (for vibration-sensitive environments), or a combination.
Powered by LightField Software
Powerful and intuitive software with built-in math engine allows for the complete control of cameras and spectrographs, with real-time image analysis and spectral data.
LightField software provides seamless integration of hardware controls and direct data acquisition into programmes such as National Instruments’ LabVIEW® and MathWorks’ MATLAB®. This software also fully supports IntelliCal automated wavelength and intensity calibration.
