Magellan-5 is an amplified, direct diode-pumped Yb-doped fiber oscillator.
Magellan delivers on the promise of fiber laser technology with performance far higher and with a much longer lifetime than diode-pumped solid-state oscillators and does so at a fraction of the cost.
The Magellan oscillator is a fiber-pigtailed, telecom qualified direct-diode pumped oscillator in a compact enclosure. Magellan-5 is the combination of a fiber oscillator and a fiber amplifier to produce 5W average power at the native rep rate of ~25MHz producing low noise short femtosecond pulses.
Magellan-5 laser provides reproducible high quality and clean femtosecond pulses on a 24/7 basis for your demanding applications.
